I wanna be next to you. (:
Holy relevance, Batman! So, confession time: I’ve never owned my own bible…until now. Diving into the word is one of the coolest, most uplifting, healing things I’ve ever done and not two minutes into it, I read the most perfect words.
“And there was evening and there was morning.”
This wasn’t written once, not twice…but six times.
Six times for the six craziest days this world has ever known- the days of its creation! I mean, isn’t that an amazing idea? Even as water was being thrust up and the sky was being created, and beasts flew and roared for the first time, and the stars were being thrown around the universe…there was still day, and there was still night. The sun came up again…woa.
It really puts things into perspective for me. I’ve been worried so much about getting everything to fall right into place and acting like it will be the end of the world as we know it if I can’t get it all done. But all of that doesn’t matter because there will be evening, and there will be morning.
There will be evening, and there will be darkness, and there will be crap, but mornin and sunlight and joy will come again.
“As long as earth endures,
seedtime and harvest,
cold and heat,
summer and winter,
day and night
will never cease.” - Genesis 8:22
God is good.
I believe moss on a rolling stone is better than the rust that’s growing on my home.
—Psalm 73:26
This is what, my fifth one? Haha. But this time will be different…ish. (:
